About Me

Scarybird: I'm part of a rather marvellous family unit that is Clan Rids. We number 4 and consist of Mama Rids - scruffy, bespectacled nonsense-monger masquerading as a grown up - shhh! Tell no-one the terrible truth. I love my life pretty much all of the time and my family is my universe. DaddyCool - Beardyweirdy with a default serious face, oft accused of being miserable but most of the time he's a "happy gibbon" (I'll explain later if I remember). I love him dearly, and we've been together since I left school. Which is ages ago. Boychild - eldest offspring, a smart, funny wordsmith bookworm with a weakness for trilbys and Lego. Girlchild - Smaller than the big one. Hilariously weird, with a will of steel and a heartfelt love of biscuits and Sarah & Duck.
